Roles and Responsibilities:

Junior DevOps Engineer (2–4 Years)

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery.
- Assist in managing and automating CI/CD pipelines and related processes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure environments, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
- Support incident response and troubleshooting efforts.
- Document and report on DevOps-related activities, solutions, and processes.

Mid-Level DevOps Engineer (4–7 Years)

- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring scalability, automation, and efficiency.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, networking, and security policies in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
- Lead infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Provide support for system administration tasks in Linux/Unix environments.
- Continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of applications and systems.

Senior DevOps Engineer (7–12 Years)

- Lead the design and execution of complex CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Architect and implement cloud infrastructure for production-grade environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Provide expert-level support for troubleshooting production environments and ensuring system reliability.
- Implement best practices for version control, environment management, and automation.
- Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing and skills development.
- Proactively manage system upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery processes.

DevOps Architect (12–15 Years)

- Own the end-to-end DevOps strategy, architecture, and design to ensure seamless integration and delivery pipelines.
- Lead the design and deployment of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
- Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies to optimize operational processes and improve developer efficiency.
- Design and oversee infrastructure security practices and compliance protocols across environments.
- Work closely with leadership to ensure alignment with business goals, roadmap, and objectives.
- Provide high-level technical guidance and act as a strategic partner in shaping the organization's DevOps culture.
- Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to optimize infrastructure costs.

DevOps Delivery Lead (15–18 Years)

- Lead the entire DevOps function, driving initiatives from strategy through execution, while collaborating with business leaders, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Define and implement DevOps best practices, frameworks, and methodologies across all projects.
- Establish and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure DevOps success, focusing on automation, scalability, and reliability.
- Manage large-scale infrastructure and ensure cloud cost optimization and efficiency.
- Deliver enterprise-level transformation projects and guide the organization through DevOps maturity.
- Lead and build a strong, results-oriented team while ensuring effective collaboration and innovation.
- Partner with leadership to define and achieve long-term DevOps vision and objectives for the company.

DevOps Practice Manager (18+ Years)

- Own the DevOps practice, driving its development, growth, and scaling across multiple projects and teams.
- Guide and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, architects, and delivery leads to elevate organizational performance.
- Define and implement best practices, methodologies, and frameworks for DevOps across the company.
- Ensure that DevOps solutions align with both business objectives and technical requirements.
- Provide thought leadership in evolving the company’s DevOps capabilities, including governance, tooling, and automation.
- Lead business transformation initiatives, providing strategic direction on DevOps adoption and scaling.
- Collaborate with senior management to set vision and roadmap for the future of DevOps in the company.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator, or similar are a plus.
