Job Description Global Sales Strategy & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and works to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world. About the role: The Associate Data Analyst is part of the Sales Strategy & Analytics team in GSSO. The team is focused on helping leaders across GSSO and Sales make strategic decisions to improve performance, processes, and their overall functions, based on careful analysis and data. The Associate Data Analyst will have access to large and complex data sets which will enable them to develop and support products that solve complex data problems and automate existing processes using different tools. They will collaborate within and across teams to own and maintain processes, create scalable solutions that cater to the large volumes of data used across Gartner. What you will do: - Consult with key Gartner business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across Sales and many different GSSO functions - Create/maintain reporting dashboards that will be leveraged by various business and operations teams for deriving key insights and analyzing metrics. - Provide consistent, timely, recurring reporting and analysis - Solve problems with structured/unstructured quantitative data and derive key insights that are top priorities for improving Sales performance What you will need: - 1-2 years of experience, ideally with focus on Business/Data Analytics - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with strong attention to detail - Exceptional analytical skills, with demonstrable experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL and PowerBI - Demonstrable experience in creating/maintaining visualization dashboards to represent key business metrics - Exposure to Databricks for advanced data engineering and analytics will be a plus - Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand key requirements and break them down into data problems - Quantitative and qualitative problem-solving experience - Strong ownership, project management and organizational skills with focus on results / timelines - Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment What you will get: - Competitive salary, generous paid time off policy, charity match program Group Medical Insurance, Parental Leave, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and more - Collaborative, team-oriented culture that embraces diversity - Professional development and unlimited growth opportunities #GSSO Who are we At Gartner, Inc.
