Job Title: CA Article Assistant Department: Accounts, Audit & Taxation Location: Sector 9, Panchkula Position Overview: The CA Article Assistant will work under the supervision of qualified Chartered Accountants and gain practical exposure in the fields of Audit, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Accounting, and Compliance. The role is designed to offer comprehensive professional development during the Articleship period. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in conducting statutory, internal, and tax audits for companies, firms, and individuals. - Support in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, and TDS statements. - Perform accounting and book-keeping for clients across multiple sectors. - Help in preparation of financial statements and audit documentation. - Conduct research on tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance requirements. - Communicate and coordinate with clients for data, clarifications, and deliverables. - Maintain proper work papers, documentation, and confidentiality of client information. Required Skills and Competencies: - Good understanding of accounting principles and basic taxation concepts. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and accounting software. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a team and manage multiple assignments.
