Job Description Job Title: Workday Technical Consultant (Reports, Calculated Fields, Dashboards) Experience: 12 14 Years Compensation: Up to 35 LPA Employment Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Technical Consultant with deep expertise in Workday HCM Reporting, Calculated Fields, and Dashboards. The ideal candidate should have a proven background in Workday technical development and reporting, along with hands-on experience in requirement gathering, design, and delivery of Workday reports and dashboards. Experience in PRISM Analytics will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Workday Reporting and Technical Development - Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports including Advanced, Composite, and Matrix reports. - Build and manage Calculated Fields, Workday Dashboards, and custom reports to meet business requirements. - Support data migration and report migration activities across environments. - Develop interfaces and customizations within Workday HCM and Finance modules. - Conduct unit testing and ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards. Requirement Gathering & Documentation - Conduct business requirement workshops and translate functional needs into technical specifications. - Perform Fit-Gap, As-Is, Keep-Drop, and Delta analysis to define the optimal reporting solution. - Prepare and maintain understanding documents, effort estimates, functional design, and technical specification documents. Project Management & Delivery - Monitor and track deliverables against project milestones. - Support project planning, estimation, and resource allocation. - Ensure timely resolution of support tickets while adhering to SLA commitments. - Perform contingency planning for project deliverables and negotiate for additional resources when needed. Stakeholder & Team Management - Manage stakeholder expectations effectively by providing timely updates and clarifications. - Collaborate closely with functional leads, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and solution accuracy. - Mentor and guide team members, ensuring deliverables are on track and of high quality. - Facilitate communication across teams, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly. Process Improvement - Analyze existing reporting processes and recommend best practices and optimization opportunities. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging insights from prior implementations and lessons learned. Required Skills and Experience - Overall Experience: 1214 years with a minimum of 46 years of hands-on experience in Workday Reporting. - Core Expertise: Workday Reports (Advanced, Composite, Dashboard), Calculated Fields, and Data Sources. - Experience in Workday PRISM Analytics is highly desirable. - Strong understanding of Workday HCM data model and integration points. - Proven experience in requirement analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management. - Ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate effectively with both technical and functional teams. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Self-driven professional with the ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications - Workday certification(s) in Reporting, Advanced Reporting, or PRISM Analytics (preferred). - Prior experience working in a global delivery model with onshore-offshore coordination. - Exposure to ERP Finance applications and related reporting tools
