Job Title: PL/SQL Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in database programming and PostgreSQL to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in writing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers, along with exposure to Azure PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain PL/pgSQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and cursors.
- Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins, sub-queries, and merge operations.
- Perform data analysis, query tuning, and indexing for performance optimization in Azure PostgreSQL.
- Automate and manage data loads using Pgloader and other scripting methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database solutions align with business requirements.
- Work on shell scripting and Linux-based automation for database-related tasks.
- Ensure best practices for database performance, security, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Primary Skills: PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, strong DB knowledge.
- Secondary Skills: Shell scripting and Linux.
- Hands-on development experience in PL/pgSQL stored procedures, triggers, cursors, functions, and packages.
- Strong understanding of SQL query design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Azure PostgreSQL, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Exposure to data load automation tools (Pgloader preferred).
