What we are looking for

State Street Global Alpha Data Platform , lets you load, enrich and aggregate investment data. Alpha Clients will be able to manage multi-asset class data from any service provider or data vendor for a more holistic and integrated view of their holdings. This platform reflects State Street's years of experience servicing complex instruments for our global client base and our investments in building advanced data management technologies.

As Alpha Data Service(ADS) Implementation Consultant, you will be an integral player of the Charles River implementation team. ADS Consultants include all aspects of a consulting project, from installation of n-tier software and integration with third party systems to DR/HA design to document and perform technical training for the Alpha client. This role is a highly technical role and spans ETL/ELT data pipelines, Snowflake DWH, CI/CD deployment Pipelines and data-readiness(data quality) design, bespoke extensions and implementation.

What you are responsible for

- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java applications.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability.
- Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging trends in Java development.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with a deep understanding of core Java concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with version control systems like Perforce, Git.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience with active directory entitlement solutions (e.g. Cloakware, Sailpoint or other third party)
- 5-7 years working with SQL (RDBMS, OLAP, DW)

- Java based ETL tools like Pentaho kettle or Talend.
