Job Description Group Company: Seneca Global IT Services Private Limited Designation: Data Analyst Position description: The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role involves collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. The Data Analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives through data-driven solutions. Primary Responsibilities: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Hands-on experience building customer facing reports and dashboards with the Looker platform and other BI tools - Ability to break a business problem into consumable/actionable Analytical solution - Work with different stakeholder/department/cross-functional product teams to accomplish the task - Ability to master the data from business lens - Understands how to use semi-structured and unstructured data - Ensure Data Accuracy and Quality - Develop new KPIs if required - Develop specs and proposals for new tables and datasets that would enhance analysis and reporting for the business - Should conduct a detailed Exploratory data analysis on any given data and Ad-hoc basics - Work confidently and independently to generate insights (The Why part) and story telling Additional Responsibilities: - Experience with building reports and dashboards in BI tools - Basic understanding of Marketing (B2B is a plus) - Expertise in SQL is a must - Python for Data Manipulation - Good to have experience on Looker Studio and Sigma - Good understanding of Basic Stats - Knowledge of Data Management - Develop software components aligned with business needs - Enhance proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks - Engage with stakeholders to refine requirements - Apply agile practices in day-to-day development - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently Required Work Experience - Industry: Information Technology - Years of experience: 5 to 6 years Key Performance Indicators: - Contribute to the achievement of client project delivery goals - Implement creative ideas and Kaizen for delivery improvement, individually or as part of a team - Participate in organization-wide activities - Demonstrate Team-working effectiveness (unify and collaboratively work with members of the project team to meet project goals, and collaborate with client team and service department teams for effective client delivery and organization contribution) - Comply with new work model (Remote/Hybrid) working in office requirements - Contribute and publish information and communication technology domain artifacts** in reputed professional networks and communities (forums/platforms/channels/sites) to engage professionally Required Skills: Mandatory Skills Technical Skills Beginner, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert SQL Advanced PL/SQL Advanced Data debugging and proactiveness Advanced Good to have Technical Skills Beginner, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert Python Basic Looker Studio/Sigma Basic
