The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.

Job Description :

- Design & development of new parts and products as per required specification.
- Recording of technical data of samples given by customer.
- Documentation of new development process and products such as design validation plan, Input data,

Output data etc.

- Jigs and fixtures design for new development, Dimensional checking and validating its parameter according to drawing in new development till the handover given to production.
- Releasing all drawings and documents from new development to Q-Inc once production trial and 1st sample submitted to customers.
- Assembly and testing of samples given by customer for existing & new development products.
- Study of customer samples, checking its feasibility in design & development stage.
- Making flow charts, work instructions, setting new line and troubleshooting of prototype and 1st trial with production & QA dept.
- Familiar with usage of Design and Testing Software Tools like AutoCAD, Solid works etc.
- Apply GD&T Principles for creating precise drawings and conducting tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Conduct design validation through simulation and physical testing.
- Preparation and Evaluation of BOM for all sales order in ERP.
- Should be well verse with using all checking instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge and Pin Gauges etc.
- Handling the team and internal work in absence of others.
- Submission of MIS should be done on ERP/Relevant software Implementation.
- Ensuring effective use of ERP/Relevant software for entire design function.

Certifications

- Follow all compliances with respect to UL,CSA, CE and other certifications.

Training & development :

Conduct in house training for developing subordinates about:

- Policies and procedures.
- Protocols.

M.I.S.

- Upgrade technical knowledge
- ISO,ASME,Safety,CE,5'S and other certification process.
- Provide training to Production, Quality Sales and Marketing departments about the assembly and its

CTQ parameters in development.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Working Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid works.
- Experience should be of 3 -5 yrs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
