Job Description Job Description Note: - Specific/ mandatory skills: Regulatory reporting, MIS reporting, excel, VBA, Power BI, Alteryx is preferred - Experience range: 2 to 3 years - Open to considering fresher candidates (Yes/No): No - Open to considering relocation/ non-local candidates (Yes/No): No - Contract duration: 6 months - Shift timings: 12:00 PM to 09:00 PM IST - Number of days work from office: 3 days a week - Preference of hiring only diversity candidates (Yes/No): No Overview: To support the Regulatory Reporting function by designing, developing and delivering accurate and timely Management information system (MIS) reports and performing Quality assurance checks. This role forms part of MIS & Quality Assurance team in Bangalore that supports Regulatory reporting across all asset classes. The role enables transparency, controls monitoring, and strategic decision making through effective data analysis and reporting for key stakeholders including Compliance, Risk, Operations and Senior management. Your key responsibilities - Design and generate periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) MIS reports to track regulatory reporting performance, timeliness, completeness, exceptions and error trends. - Maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor control effectiveness and operational risk in regulatory reporting process. - Support various global and regional regulatory obligations through data aggregation and metrics reporting - Identify trends, inefficiencies or recurring issues and suggest proactive solutions. - Conduct root cause analysis on defects, late submissions, and reconciliation breaks. - Support automation initiatives through use of tools like excel VBA, SQL Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx to streamline recurring reporting activities. - Assist in preparing materials for senior management and governance forums. - Develop a thorough understanding of RCP Operations Jurisdictional coverage, architecture and existing controls. Becoming an SME of the QA repeatable processes for multiple jurisdictions including EMIR, CFTC, MiFID II, Bank of England, MMSR. - Building and subsequent execution of testing scenarios based on understanding of business requirements & key risk areas with aim to test reporting is accurate to client's books and records. - Creatively and independently, provide resolution to technical problems in a cost-effective manner - Positive, constructive approach to Quality Assurance testing with emphasis on delivering good stakeholder outcomes. Your skills and experience - 2-3 years work experience within MIS reporting or similar QA role within financial services. - An understanding of trading (Credit, Rates and Equities) lifecycle events and the impacts this on regulatory reporting. - Regulatory experience (MIFIR, EMIR, Dodd Frank, Bank of England etc.) is preferred. - Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills including VBA. - Ability to effectively maintain, coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks and projects. - Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment - Strong data handling skills using excel, VBA, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx is preferred - Understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and data flow across systems is a plus. - Clear and concise communication and escalation. Ability to recognize high risk situations and deal with them in a prompt manner.
