We have been finalist at “Tech Nation” and “Mortgage Strategy Awards” Tech Nation - https://technation.io/news/companies-fintech-programme-2021 Mortgage Strategy Awards - https://mortgagestrategyawards.co.uk/msa/en/page/shortlist-2022 Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester with 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications through automation-first testing practices. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to build robust testing strategies, identify risks early, and drive a culture of quality across the engineering team. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing. Write and execute automation scripts to validate functional and non-functional requirements. Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage across all new features and bug fixes. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. Conduct regression, smoke, performance, and integration testing using automation tools. Analyse test results, log defects, and track them to closure. Provide mentorship to junior testers in best practices for automation. Ensure adherence to quality engineering standards and continuous improvement initiatives. Stay up to date with the latest automation tools, techniques, and industry trends. Pre-requisites: 3+ years of proven experience in automation testing . Strong experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium . Hands-on experience in scripting with Java, JavaScript, or Python for test automation. Solid understanding of API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and tools like Swagger. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git . Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow. Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle, test design techniques, and Agile methodologies. Good understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
