An IT Executive in a hotel manages the hotel s technology infrastructure including hardware software and networks to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experience Responsibilities include technical support for staff and guests managing IT budgets implementing new systems and policies ensuring IT security and coordinating with vendors for systems like Property Management Systems PMS and Point of Sale POS Key skills for this role are strong technical knowledge leadership problem-solving abilities and excellent communication Key Responsibilities IT Infrastructure Management Oversee maintain and troubleshoot all hotel IT systems including servers networks and hardware Technical Support Provide technical support and assistance to hotel staff and guests for various IT-related issues System Implementation Install configure and maintain desktop computers laptops software and other network devices IT Security Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of systems and data protecting against unauthorized access User Management Create and manage user accounts passwords and security parameters for all hotel systems Vendor Coordination Liaise with vendors to ensure the timely and effective implementation of new software and hardware Budget Management Develop and manage the department s IT budget effectively Performance Monitoring Monitor system performance maintain logs and implement changes to improve efficiency New Technology Integration Research and implement new technologies to enhance hotel operations and guest experience Essential Skills Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of Windows Linux systems hotel management software like Opera or IDS network appliances and security protocols Problem-Solving Ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions Leadership and Communication Skills to lead teams influence decision-making and provide clear communication with staff and management Customer Service An understanding of the importance of IT systems in delivering an excellent guest experience Strategic Thinking Ability to plan organize and implement technology solutions that support the hotel s goals Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 36 447 75 per month Work Location In person
