Job Title: Semiconductor Engineer
Experience: 10+ years in semiconductor design, fabrication, or testing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Engineer to design, develop, and optimize semiconductor devices and integrated circuits. The ideal candidate will work on chip design, fabrication, and validation, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Semiconductor Design & Development:
- Design and develop integrated circuits (ICs), microprocessors, and ASICs/SoCs.
- Work with EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics) for circuit design and simulation.
1. Fabrication & Process Development:
- Collaborate with fabrication teams for wafer processing, photolithography, and etching.
- Optimize semiconductor materials and manufacturing techniques to enhance device performance.
1. Testing & Validation:
- Conduct failure analysis, reliability testing, and electrical characterization.
- Work on DFT (Design for Testability) methodologies and post-silicon validation.
1. Integration & Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and system engineers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, IEEE, JEDEC).
1. Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay updated with emerging semiconductor technologies (e.g., 3nm, GaN, SiC).
- Optimize power consumption, thermal management, and yield enhancement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of CMOS, VLSI, RF, or Analog/Mixed Signal design.
- Experience with SPICE simulations, RTL coding (Verilog/VHDL), and FPGA prototyping.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes (cleanroom, deposition, doping).
- Hands-on experience with lab testing equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
- Certifications in ASIC/FPGA design or semiconductor processing are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with 5G, AI-driven chip design, or MEMS sensors.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Automotive Semiconductors) or MIL-STD (Aerospace Applications).
