You will work closely with our Product Manager and CTO, contributing to architecture, scalable APIs, marketplace workflows, payments, automations, and multi-market expansion. This role is for someone who wants to build meaningful technology at speed with clarity, discipline, and ownership. What You Will Do • Work on backend-heavy architecture, design, and development • Build scalable APIs, workflows, automations and platform features • Collaborate with product and developers to ship fast and clean • Write maintainable, tested, high-performance code • Take part in sprint planning, code reviews, deployments • Influence technical decisions and help evolve the platform What You Need to Succeed • 9 plus years as a software engineer • Experience in product-based or startup teams • Strong PHP and Laravel backend skills • Full stack capability in HTML, Bootstrap, Tailwind, JavaScript, jQuery and modern frontend frameworks • Strong understanding of structured databases, indexing, and relationships • Hands-on experience with APIs and devops workflows • Ability to think-plan user experience • Experience with Github based deployments • Ability to create SOW documents • Experience with monolithic and microservices architecture Nice to Have • Marketplace or B2B SaaS experience • Strong understanding of finance modules like invoicing, billing and credits • Multi-region or multi-currency platform experience • Experience with tools like Zapier or n8n How We Measure Success • You take ownership end-to-end • You balance quality with delivery speed • You simplify complexity • You communicate clearly • You move fast without breaking trust Screening Questions (Mandatory) These questions help us understand your technical depth and problem-solving approach. 1.
