JOB DESCRIPTION:-

The ideal candidate would be, an experienced professional who has strong expertise in government sales, strategic execution and stakeholder management. Adept at liaising with government entities, can identify new market opportunities, drive Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), manage RFPs & tenders, and streamline business processes for superior product offerings. Someone who has strong negotiation, networking, analytical skills and excel in driving key government initiatives and high-priority company projects, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

- Understand the ground realities of the market and deliver superior customer requirements and customized product offerings to Govt. entities like Municipal Corporations, State Government Departments, Central Government Departments, Govt. PF Trusts, Embassies, Gram Panchayats, Govt. Boards & Development Authorities, Defense, Autonomous entities etc.
- Determining profitability of business proposals based on information provided by RMs through CBA (Cost Benefit Analysis) tools.
- Identifying new markets and opportunities in Government Banking Space.
- Ensuring better Business drives and Product offerings by streamlining processes to improve customer, frontline and operations experience.
- Working on RFPs, Govt. Tenders and Bid based mandates to understand the business requirements, and design of business solution
- Coordination with Internal Products and IT Teams. Government Coverage Group (GCG) point of contact for internal co-ordination for L&D exercise, R&R and Strategic Meets.
- Co-owning and driving GCG focus segments (Education, Health and Central Sector Schemes) through value driven projects.
- Implementation of P1 and P2 level project of the company.
- Ensure timely execution and alignment of these projects with the company's objectives.

Requirements

Desired Qualifications/ Knowledge:-

- Graduate in any discipline. A management degree would be an advantage.
- 10+ years of total experience, including 5+ years of managing a large government portfolio.
- Ability to communicate across levels.
- Negotiation and commercial acumen.
