Job Description: Overview We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect with over 15 years of expertise in enterprise integration and API management to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and modern integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on knowledge of tools such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, WSO2 API Manager, Azure API Management, Advance Event Mesh, Solace PubSub+ and a strong foundation in service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and event-driven integration patterns. You will play a key role in defining integration strategies, establishing governance frameworks, mentoring engineering teams, and driving adoption of API-first and hybrid integration models across cloud and on-premise platforms. Experience - 7+ years experience working as Integration architect - 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise integration, system design, and architecture. - 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP integration Suite, SAP PO/PI/CPI, WSO2, and Azure Integration Services, Solace PubSub+ (Enterprise Messaging, Event Streams) and Talend. - Build ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing, cleansing, transformation, and loading across structured and unstructured data formats. - Extensive experience in service design (REST, SOAP), API development, microservices, and orchestration. - Experience with iPaaS and cloud-native integrations including Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and Event Grid. - Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, pub/sub messaging, real-time data pipelines. - Proven track record of delivering integration projects across ERP, CRM, HRMS, and other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle). - Experience with messaging and event streaming platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and JMS is a strong plus. - Deep understanding of ESB, SOA, EDA, and API gateway technologies and principles. - Familiarity with integration monitoring tools and platforms: ELK stack, Splunk, SAP CPI Monitor, CALM, etc. Skills & Knowledge - Strong hands-on knowledge in API design, security (OAuth2, JWT), lifecycle management, and service versioning. - Proficiency in data formats and protocols such as JSON, XML, XSLT, CSV. - Deep understanding of integration design patterns: Sync/Async, Pub/Sub, Event-driven, B2B/B2C, File-based, API-led. - Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Groovy, XSLT) and DevOps practices. - Strategic thinker with the ability to align technical efforts with business goals. - Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills. - Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver enterprise-scale integration solutions. - Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging tools is a plus. Key Responsibilities Integration Architecture & Strategy - Define, implement, and maintain enterprise integration architecture aligned with business and IT goals. - Strong experience with integrating applications with ERP platforms. - Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to establish service architecture, API strategy, and integration roadmaps. - Lead the modernization of legacy/ new systems through SOA and API-led transformation. - Design scalable, secure, and resilient integration patterns for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. - Advocate and drive adoption of API-first and event-driven integration strategies. - Strong understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies, data mapping, data quality, and data lineage. Platform & Solution Design - Architect solutions using platforms such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP PO/PI/CPI WSO2, and Azure APIM, Advance Event Mesh, Solace and Talend. - Implement and manage integration APIs, services, and gateways using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and OData. - Provide guidance on microservices design, lifecycle management, and deployment strategies. - Define service interfaces, contracts, and standards ensuring interoperability and reuse across projects. - Ensure high availability and performance of integration platforms and gateways. Governance, Standards & Best Practices - Provide architectural governance across all integration initiatives, ensuring reusability, standardization, and compliance with security and performance benchmarks. - Establish and enforce integration patterns, standards, API governance, and service lifecycle frameworks. - Partner with cross-functional teams to align solutions with enterprise architecture standards. - Provide architectural oversight, code reviews, and design validation for integration solutions. Technical Leadership & Collaboration - Lead and mentor development teams, integration engineers, and architects in design and delivery. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and vendors to understand integration requirements. - Drive continuous improvement, technical excellence, and innovation within the integration space. - Coordinate with security teams to implement secure integration practices including OAuth2, JWT, certificates, and role-based access control. Minimum Qualifications Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline. Preferred Qualifications - Certifications in Azure Solutions Architect, SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI, Solace, WSO2 API Manager or Talend certification (e.g., Talend Data Integration v7/v8 Developer or Architect). - Experience with automated API testing tools (SoapUI, Katalon) and API documentation tools (Swagger, Apiary). - Exposure to SRE principles for middleware and integration reliability. - Experience with integration platforms such as IBM ACE, IBM API Connect, MuleSoft, Apigee, or TIBCO.
