Be able to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders leadership teams, product managers, support, and other engineers. - Design and implementation of various Big Data platform components like (Batch Processing, Live Stream Processing, Memory Cache, Query Layer (SQL), Rule Engine and Action Framework). - Implement scalable solutions to meet the ever-increasing data volumes - Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude, ability to perform root cause analysis, determine priority/urgency of issues, and be an expert in application troubleshooting, and configuration support. - Research, recommend, and implement tools as needed with the goal of automation within OCC. - Perform data analysis for generating reports periodically. - Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions as resolutions to any problems and issues. - Collaborate with Senior Managers and decision-makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives. - Recommend & prepare automated solutions after defining and evaluating problem statements. Where possible automate reporting so it can be produced promptly and be consistently accurate. - Study and analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes to cost, efficiency and feasibility to business. - Define data requirements, gather, and validate information, and apply judgment and statistical tests. - Apply mathematical principles or statistical approaches to solve problems and determine appropriate methods for data analysis.
