About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic professional to join as Chief of Staff to the JMD. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional priorities, and acting as an advisor, enabler, and extension of the JMD’s office. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical rigor, business acumen, and execution capability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Support:

- Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the JMD in business planning, decision-making, and execution.
- Lead special projects and key strategic initiatives on behalf of the JMD, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare strategic briefs, presentations, reports, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Excellence:

- Monitor and follow up on key action items, deliverables, and project timelines across departments.
- Serve as a bridge between the JMD and senior leadership, enabling smooth communication and coordination.
- Drive operational efficiency by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in workflows and decision processes.

Stakeholder Management:

- Represent the JMD in key meetings, as required, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
- Manage critical stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, on behalf of the JMD.
- Coordinate with business heads, department leads, and external partners to ensure timely updates and progress reports.

Administrative Oversight:

- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the JMD office.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and documentation.
- Support calendar management, travel coordination, and high-level meetings as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 8–10 years of experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, preferably in a Chief of Staff, Strategy, Consulting, or Executive Office role.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution is preferred.
- Experience working directly with CXOs or senior leadership teams is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and complex projects simultaneously.
