Company OverviewJost s Engineering Co Ltd established in 1907 is a leading manufacturer and supplier of material handling equipment and engineering product solutions based in Mumbai The company has a pan-India presence with strategically placed units sales offices and service units Jost s Engineering offers cutting-edge material handling solutions and has pioneered the concept of internal material handling in India With an ISO-9001 2008 Certified plant near Mumbai Jost s is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions through its extensive experience and all-India sales and service network Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer for a full-time hybrid position located in Thane The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in material handling equipment industry and operate at a mid-level position contributing to Jost s commitment to providing innovative material handling solutions The role requires a strong foundation in technical knowledge and sales acumen along with excellent negotiation skills Qualifications and Skills Technical knowledge to effectively understand and communicate the capabilities and advantages of our products and solutions to clients Mandatory skill Sales acumen to strategically drive sales opportunities and nurture client relationships ensuring long-term partnerships Mandatory skill Negotiation skills that are essential for closing deals and achieving favourable outcomes for both the company and clients Mandatory skill Exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and engage stakeholders Problem-solving ability to address and resolve client issues efficiently ensuring satisfaction and continuous relationship building Proficiency in customer relationship management to cultivate and maintain profitable and productive client relationships Strong presentation skills to deliver compelling product demonstrations and sales presentations to diverse audiences Comprehensive product knowledge to serve as an expert resource for clients and internal teams throughout the sales cycle Roles and Responsibilities Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by establishing connections with potential customers and understanding their needs Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations to communicate the value proposition of our solutions Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of client projects and the alignment of deliverables with client expectations Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure sales agreements that meet the interests of both parties Maintain accurate records of sales activities client interactions and results using customer relationship management tools Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential impacts on current and future sales strategies Work closely with clients post-sale to ensure successful product implementation and address any issues or questions that arise Provide feedback to the product development team regarding client needs and requests to improve our service offerings continuously
