JOB DESCRIPTION:-

To attend to all patients.

Attend casualty/emergency and routine patient.

To asses patient on admission.

To take detail history. Put initial treatment order.

Suggest relevent investigations and formulate a plan of treatment.

To take rounds, tract progress of patients as well as to tract investigation results.

Check all the treatment sheets written by the RMOs/Nurses, make necessary changes.

Attend rounds with the consultants. Inform the RMOs about any change

To attend to all the patients problems and emergencies. To carry out the necessary emergency procedures and if needed take them to relevant diagnostic procedures.

To attend to delivery of newborn babies whenever nesssary and transfer them by ambulance.To transfer pediatric patients from other hospitals to TCHM.

To check the HMIS system, if necessary to enter relevant details in the modules.

To make and check the discharge summaries thoroughly and put the signature on the same.

To make sure all the preoperative and post operative orders are carried out.

To give the necessary training to the newly joined RMOs, making them aware of their job profile and necessary protocols.

To give training to nursing and paramedical staff.

Preparing of SOPs and implementation of the same.

Technical Skill:

Can perfome all ward level procedures and ICU level procedures

Can insert Central Line

Trained in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Trained in NALS (Neonatal Advanced Life Support)

Expert in Resuscitation.

Other Skills:

Good Interpersonal Skill

Analytical Skill

Problem Solving & decision Making

Presence of Mind
