Job Description Job Requisition: 4VAL-ENG-2025-003 Position Title: Design & Analysis Engineer Advanced Ceramics Location: Jaipur, India Type: Full-Time (On-site) About the Role We are seeking a Design & Analysis Engineer to lead the mechanical design, simulation, and validation of advanced ceramic components. This position bridges materials science, mechanical design, and simulation engineering, developing optimized geometries for high-performance and extreme-environment applications. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop detailed 3D models and assemblies of ceramic components. - Perform FEA simulations (static, thermal, modal/vibrational, and thermal-expansion coupled stress). - Document simulation findings, derive insights, and contribute to technical papers, patents, and publications. - Analyze elastic deformation, stress concentration, modal response, and thermal mismatch in mechanical assemblies (e.g., seals, nozzles, discs). - Utilize predictive analysis and computational modeling to improve design efficiency and support R&D programs. - Translate functional requirements into optimized geometry, tolerances, and materials. - Conduct failure mode analysis using simulation data to guide material and geometric refinements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams during prototype validation and design iteration. Qualifications - B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech or M.Sc. in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Ceramic, Physics, or Chemistry. - 25 years of experience in CAD/FEA or product design. - Proficiency in at least one major CAD + Simulation package (e.g., Fusion 360, ANSYS, COMSOL, SolidWorks Simulation). - Strong understanding of FEA principles, thermal-mechanical coupling, and materials modeling. - Familiarity with ceramic material properties and their mechanical behavior. Preferred Skills - Experience in topology optimization, additive manufacturing, or composite modeling. - Exposure to process modeling, thermal analysis, or fracture mechanics. - Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems for version and data management.
