Job Description

Role Overview

As a Product Manager for Payments & Fraud at McAfee, you will play a key role in building secure, seamless, and scalable payment and risk mitigation solutions. You will work closely with engineering, design, data science, and global stakeholders to shape the roadmap, define requirements, and deliver high-impact features that drive business growth, improve payment reliability, and enhance customer trust.

You will support global payments optimization and fraud prevention initiatives, ensuring McAfee's billing and transaction experiences are customer-friendly, complaint, and optimized for performance.

This is a Hybrid position based in Bangalore. You must be within a commutable distance from the location. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location.

About The Role

- Define and own product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for features spanning payments, billing, fraud prevention, and dispute management.
- Manage both strategic initiatives (new integrations, payment methods and AI-driven enhancements) and operational needs (investigating processor issues, ensuring settlement accuracy and optimizing performance).
- Collaborate with global engineering, business, and design teams to drive execution across the product lifecyclefrom ideation to delivery.
- Scope use cases and define delivery phases in alignment with technical feasibility and business goals.
- Support A/B testing, user testing, and iterative product improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Partner closely with engineering, finance, operations, and external processors to deliver scalable, compliant, and customer-friendly payment solutions.
- Use data to analyze payment success rates, fraud trends, and operational performanceidentifying opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of industry, regulatory, and technology changes to ensure the payments ecosystem remains reliable, efficient, and growth oriented.

About You

- You should have 7 to 9 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years as a Product Manager, preferably in payments, fintech, eCommerce or financial services.
- Proven experience working on customer-facing products with measurable business impact.
- Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in payments or ecommerce is a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital payments, billing flows, fraud controls and payment lifecycle management.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset; experienced with KPIs, funnel analysis, and experimentation (A/B testing, payment optimization).
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Strong knowledge of mobile and web product development cycles, agile processes and stakeholder management.
- Experience integrating with PSPs, payment gateways, fraud vendors and external payment processors.
