Responsibilities - Dispense prescription medications to patients and provide information on their correct use. - Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medications. - Monitor patient drug therapies for effectiveness and side effects. - Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care. - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulations. - Assist in managing inventory and ordering pharmaceuticals. - Stay updated with the latest drug therapies and pharmaceutical advancements. Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D). - Valid pharmacist license from the respective state pharmacy council. - Strong understanding of pharmacology and drug interactions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Basic knowledge of pharmacy software and health care regulations.
