Your Role

We at Innovaccer are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and scale high-performing engineering teams while driving the development of world-class product experiences. In this role, you'll partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to architect and deliver impactful solutions that address our customers' most pressing challenges. You'll be responsible for fostering technical excellence, mentoring engineers, and ensuring seamless execution from concept to deployment.

A Day in the Life

- Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure systems across modern technologies (Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and others).
- Drive architectural direction, ensuring scalability, maintainability, extensibility, and alignment of the technical stack with long-term business goals.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering leads to translate business requirements into technical strategies and high-quality deliverables.
- Guide engineering teams in writing clean, efficient, and modular code, while establishing and enforcing industry best practices and coding standards.
- Lead efforts in performance optimization, identifying system bottlenecks and implementing solutions at scale.
- Enable innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging adoption of emerging technologies and best practices across full-stack and AI-driven systems.

Requirements

What You Need

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 9-14 years of professional experience in backend engineering and technical leadership.
- Strong background in Node.js, distributed systems design, and large-scale backend architectures.
- Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven systems, and API-first architectures.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL/NoSQL databases, database scaling, and advanced caching strategies.
- Proficiency in system performance optimization, observability, and fault tolerance.
- Designing and deploying LLM-based systems at scale.
- Multiple AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI.
- Building production-grade RAG pipelines with vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB) and embedding models.
- AI observability and governance platforms (e.g., MLflow, LangSmith).
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
