This professional will eventually manage a team of analysts and associates / consultants and senior consultants - Full-time position based in Mumbai (India) (fully work from office) Core Responsibilities Support the strategy and corporate development, commercial / brand and competitive / markets intelligence / insight functions of highly reputable large conglomerates / holding companies / family offices across key operating sectors. The individual will work on business / financial / investment research projects with responsibilities that may include (but not be limited to): - Strategic / Competitive / Market Intelligence o Board level market and competitive data, sector analysis, intelligence and insights in retail, hospitality and real estate sectors. Develop periodic sector decks, board packs and competitor analysis o Produce in-depth, analytical and insightful company profiles / analysis; highly analytical newsletters; competitive dashboards across key markets and diverse sectors / industries - Financial and Market Data o Support clients in financial benchmarking (KPI), competitor analysis, financial modelling and due diligence o Support the client with preparation of information memorandums, IPO decks, target identification, industry research - Should be a self-starter and take full responsibility for end-to-end execution of projects with low levels of required supervision (although seniors are always available for guidance) - Be able to understand the requirements of complex financial and investment research projects - Conduct thorough self-review of all work and be able to clearly communicate about the structure and content of deliverables to seniors - The role requires the team members to participate in client communication and talk clients through deliverables, as well as guide and review the work of juniors Desired Academic and Professional Background - Top-tier academic performance is essential, supported by strong education, internships and exposures o CFA / MBA from Tier 1 or equivalent Indian institutes, OR o Top international universities with strong research credentials o Those with an MBA plus CFA would be given higher priority - Relevant experience of minimum 4 years in financial / investment research with exposure in financial benchmarking, modeling and report writing - Retail, hospitality, real estate equity / financial research, investment banking or KPO / consulting experience is a must Required Skills & Attributes - Highly entrepreneurial, inquisitive, and analytical mindset - Ability to thrive in a non-bureaucratic, fast-paced environment - Exceptional problem-solving, communication (English – oral and written), and stakeholder management skills - Strong project structuring skills, secondary and primary market research skills - Ability to balance hand on and hands-off approach - Should be proactive in prioritizing and organizing the tasks to meet deadlines, while working on multiple projects - Exposure to strategy, market intelligence, or competitive analysis is mandatory - Understanding financial concepts and exposure of financial analysis is a must - Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word What We Offer - Opportunity to work with exceptionally qualified professionals internally and externally - Fast-track learning and growth in a meritocratic and hard work focused environment - Exposure to global clients, international markets, and strategic challenges - A collaborative and entrepreneurial work culture Other Important Notes - Please DO NOT apply if you do not fulfil the above criteria - Depending upon the performance, dedication and zeal of the candidate, fast trackers could be given exposure to a lot of opportunities as following (but not limited to): o Be part of 'Axience Central' team reporting directly into Senior Management and CEO o Actively engage with potential & current customers by launching campaigns, maintaining client relationships, maximizing ROI & effectiveness o Execute ideas & run campaigns with business heads end-to-end: including identifying the right opportunities, negotiation, closure, execution & follow-up reports - Only Mumbai based candidates or those who are willing to stay / relocate will be considered Contact If you have the qualification, experience, and passion for the role mentioned above then please apply with a detailed custom cover letter at rc.openings@axience.com.
