4 Month Remote Contract- Immediate Joiners (15 days or less)

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with Java (preferably Java 17, 21 or newer)

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture

Familiarity with SonarQube and code quality tools

Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests

CICD and Cloud deployment experience

Understanding of security and privacy best practices in software development

Knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools like Rest Assured is a plus

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Job Description

An employer is looking for strong Java Engineers to help with a few projects, including CICD process improvement, removing vulnerabilities, and increasing code coverage. Responsibilities will include:

Upgrade existing services from Java 17 to Java 21.

Migrate applications to the latest version of Spring Boot.

Address and resolve SonarQube violations to improve code quality and maintainability.

Increase unit and integration test coverage across services.

Collaborate with security and privacy teams to ensure compliance and certification standards.

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.

Analyze and optimize application performance and reliability.
