Job Title WordPress Developer Job Overview As a WordPress Developer you will be responsible for developing customizing and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients and internal teams You will work closely with designers project managers and other developers to create responsive scalable and user-friendly websites If you have a passion for clean code creative problem-solving and staying up-to-date with WordPress technologies we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities - Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements - Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups into functional WordPress websites - Maintain and update WordPress websites ensuring they are secure fast and user-friendly - Integrate third-party tools and APIs with WordPress as required - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites performance bugs updates - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness - Write clean scalable and well-documented code - Optimize websites for SEO and performance speed security - Keep up to date with the latest trends best practices and updates in the WordPress ecosystem - Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and timelines Requirements - Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role - Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture themes and plugins - Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript PHP and MySQL - Experience with page builders e g Elementor WPBakery and custom themes - Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques - Experience with website security practices and tools - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Excellent communication skills - Knowledge of version control systems Git is a plus - Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce is a plus - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Web Development or related field preferred Preferred Skills - Experience with RESTful APIs and web services - Knowledge of website analytics tools e g Google Analytics - Familiarity with SEO tools and techniques - Experience working with hosting platforms like SiteGround Bluehost WP Engine etc - Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks e g React Vue js is a bonus What We Offer - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for career growth and professional development - A supportive and collaborative work environment - Access to the latest tools and technologies Job Type Full-time Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Schedule Morning shift Supplemental Pay Commission pay Performance bonus Ability to commute relocate Kollam Kerala Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience total work 1 year Preferred Language English Required Work Location In person
