About Pixel For over 26 years Pixel has been a pioneer in using technology to bring buildings to life before they re even built With our head office nestled in the UK and our vibrant production hub in Pune India we bridge continents and expertise to deliver cutting-edge architectural visualization and real-time experiences We specialize in crafting immersive and photorealistic representations of unbuilt environments allowing our clients to communicate their vision with clarity and impact Our team of talented artists and technologists leverage the power of Blender and Unreal Engine 5 to create stunning visuals that captivate audiences and drive decision-making At Pixel we foster a drive for excellence in a collaborative innovative supportive work culture where creativity thrives and every individual contributes to our shared success We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of architectural visualization and are constantly exploring new ways to blend art and technology If you re looking to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company that s shaping the future of how we experience architecture we invite you to explore our opportunities About the Role We are seeking a talented and passionate Environmental Artist to join our growing team You will play a key role in creating stunning and realistic natural environments within Unreal Engine 5 for architectural visualizations and real-time experiences If you have a keen eye for detail a love for nature and a strong understanding of environment creation workflows we encourage you to apply Responsibilities Create photo realistic natural environments following landscape drawings with foliage rocks and water features within Unreal Engine 5 Build realistic optimized assets and scenes to be used in Stills animations and real-time experiences Collaborate with architects designers and other artists to achieve project goals and ensure visual fidelity aligns with project requirements Utilize and optimize photogrammetry assets and scanned data to enhance realism Texture and light environments to create immersive and believable scenes Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Unreal Engine 5 and environment creation techniques Requirements Proven experience creating high-quality environments in Unreal Engine ideally with demonstrable experience in Unreal Engine 5 A strong portfolio showcasing realistic natural realistic environments and strong artistic skills Proficiency in modelling software such as 3ds Max or Blender Excellent texturing skills using Substance Painter Designer or similar tools Understanding of environment art pipelines and optimization techniques for large scenes and realistic quality Knowledge of lighting and rendering techniques within Unreal Engine Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bonus Points Experience with Houdini or other procedural tools Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Blueprint Experience in architectural visualization Passion for games and real-time interactive experiences Benefits We offer a competitive salary hybrid working paid time off team days away and professional development opportunities Be part of an international creative and passionate team pushing the boundaries of real-time visualization Work on exciting and challenging projects for renowned clients
