Job Description Job Title: Jr. Electrical Design Engineer- MV design Qualifications: BE/B Tech (Electrical) Experience: 3-6 years Desired: AVEVA Electrical, AutoCAD Electricals, AVEVA Instrumentation, ETAP/PSCAD, SKM, Dialux, Design analysis, Oil Gas Experience, Plant engineering experience. Location: Pune Responsibilities - Load List, Feeder Lists, Cable Sizing Calculations, transformer Sizing calculations, CT/VT Sizing calculations, Relay setting and coordination study, Earthing Sizing Calculations, Tray Loading, Lighting System calculations, Bus duct sizing, Busbar Sizing - Strong Experience designing mid voltage controls panel including switchgear panels, MCC and relay panels. - Knowledge of protection relays, ACBs, SF6 breaker, VCB - Performing small Feasibility studies for appropriate specification finalization. Strong communication skills. - Layouts-Cable Raceways, Grounding and Shielding System, Electrical Equipment Layout- Substations, Transformer yards, Switchgear Rooms, Hazardous areas. - Preparation of Bill of materials for major equipment and bulk items for hazardous and safe areas. - Experience in the field of Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil Gas, Industries projects etc. - Single Line Diagrams, Protection, Schematics diagram preparation. - Communications, meetings, coordination with multidisciplinary engineering team, professional consultants, vendors, suppliers, contractors. - Technical Competencies for the Job - Short circuit analysis, Arc flash studies, relay coordination. - Power Distribution system - Substation package design knowledge - MV Switchgear, MVMCC, EMS, - Communication system, Fire alarm system, Cathodic protection system - Grounding and lighting protection system - Cable/Wiring for 4.16kV cables - Working experience in multidisciplinary EPC environment. - Hands on with design engineering of MW scale industrial/ process plant /energy/ power generation/ oil and gas/TD projects. - Ability to Make deliverables from scratch. - Proactiveness and agility to work in start-up industry. - Flexible to handle tasks given beyond defined responsibilities as per project needs. - Accustomed to work on fast-track projects with high time commitments. - Ability to deliver on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. - Ability to understand and implement the fast track and intricate technological developments in Hydrogen ecosystem. - Good knowledge of Electrical Codes and Standards (IEC, IEEE, IS) and their implementation in day-to-day deliverables. - High level of proficiency in MS office tools like MS Office, MS Excel. - Shall have knowledge of power system studies e.g. Short Circuit current calculation, Load flow study Harmonic analysis and software's like ETAP. Software Skills - ETAP / PSCAD analyze power system dynamics, transients, protection. - Easy Power intelligent design, analyse, monitor power systems. - SKM analysis design software for fault calculations, load flow, - AGI32 Lighting Analysis AutoCAD add-on AVEVA Electrical - CompuTrace Electrical Heat Trace Calculations - DIALux Design, calculate visualize lighting for mutilsize areas.
