- Burns McDonnell India (BMI) Environmental Division is looking for a well-rounded and driven Civil 3D Designer in the Mumbai Office to support our teams in the US. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering projects and demonstrate proficiency in using advanced CAD software. The position requires a proactive, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

Civil 3D Software Expertise:

- Utilize Civil 3D Software for designing and analyzing storm water systems, roadway infrastructure, and other civil engineering projects.
- Apply CAD commands effectively for precise design and modeling.

Grading and Land Development:

- Perform grading work and land development projects.
- Conduct stormwater design and analysis using various software tools.
- Design, model, and analyze sewer systems in Civil 3D.

Roadway Design and Modeling:

- Design and model roadway projects using Civil 3D.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in project execution.

Project Experience:

- Demonstrate experience in managing projects encompassing the skills.
- Deliver projects with high efficiency and quality.

Underground Utility Design:

- Understand and design underground utility systems.
- Apply engineering principles for effective utility design.

Sheet Set Manager (SSM) Proficiency:

- Use Sheet Set Manager (SSM) in Civil 3D for stormwater, sewer, water, and other utility projects.
- Label and organize project documentation effectively.

Vehicle Tracking:

- Utilize vehicle tracking software for project planning and execution.
- Ensure proper vehicle movement and logistics on project sites.

Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 5-10 years AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, Navis Works detailing experience involving work associated with Grading, Pipe network Underground Utilities, Roadways.

- Strong expertise in Civil 3D Software and related design tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of stormwater, sewer, and roadway design.

Communication and Teamwork:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
