Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

Process Overview.

GBDART (Global Banking Data Analytics and Reporting Technology) Banking Client Data ADS Manage all the applications, tools, critical micro services involved in maintaining Banking Clients Reference Data, Client Onboarding, Re onboarding process of Entity/client Unification and Data Management Operations.

GPBS (GCIB Party Business Services.) is an array of services that provides the ability to various applications access to CED (Core Entity Database) Data, which is the single source of Clients/Customers and prospects for the following major areas: Global Banking and Markets (GBAM), Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB), Global Commercial Banking (GCB), and Business Lending and U.S. Trust (UST). It includes domestic and international companies, government entities, financial institutions, as well as high net-worth individuals, and sole proprietors. It contains indicative information about each customer (i.e., name, address, industry code, legal code, etc.), Officers supporting the customer (i.e., the banker, treasury management officer, etc.), Legal structure of the customer (i.e., the corporate headquarter / subsidiary, and Linkages to the product and services that the customer utilizes.

GPBS can interact not only with CED but various other source systems like WCC and AWARE/Cesium, etc... This hides complex data structure and intricate business logic from any application that's interested in CED Data. GPBS exposes core business operations that any application would need.

Job Description.

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will work on modernization projects, implement minor application enhancements, and provide Level 3 (L3) support. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to ensure the stability and scalability of applications.

Responsibilities.

- Analyze existing systems and applications to identify modernization requirements.
- Design and implement migration strategies to ensure seamless transitions.
- Refactor and optimize legacy code for compatibility with modern frameworks and technologies.
- Perform data migration and validation to ensure data integrity.
- Develop and implement minor enhancements to existing applications based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze enhancement requirements.
- Ensure enhancements are thoroughly tested and meet performance standards.
- Provide Level 3 support for production systems, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring problems.
- Collaborate with L2 support teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues.

Requirements.

- Strong expertise in Java programming, including object-oriented design and development.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related technologies.
- Experience in designing, developing and consuming APIs using core Java, Spring boot, RESTful services.
- Hands-on experience in building and maintaining microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL/PL SQL, database design, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.

Education.

- Graduation / Post Graduation: BE/B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/MCA/MTech.
- Certifications If Any: NA.

Experience Range.

- 04 Years To 06 Years.

Foundational Skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with application monitoring tools and logging frameworks.
- Knowledge of job scheduling tools like Autosys is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business logic into modular services.
- Proven experience in migration projects and legacy system modernization.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and production support processes.
