customer insights and empathy into the broader Azure Engineering organization Our team is looking for a Software Engineer to help develop a world-class customer-centered engineering infrastructure You will work with Azure CXP Program Managers and Data Scientists as well as other Azure engineering teams and the Field Marketing and Support organizations to define and deliver critical customer-facing features and the tools infrastructure and end-to-end solutions required for all the rapidly expanding programs in Azure CXP This role will have a measurable impact in customer growth and satisfaction for one of the fastest growing businesses at Microsoft We are looking for a software engineer who thinks strategically works pragmatically in a dynamic environment with few guardrails and enjoys getting stuff done In this role you will need strong customer empathy and an ability to focus our engineering efforts on Azures business priorities As we drive to increase Azure customer adoption engineering practices and tools Produce extensible and maintainable designs and code Optimize debug and refactor code to improve performance and maintainability and effectiveness Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team s processes practices and culture Learn and adopt new technologies and frameworks as needed You will be a meaningful part of a team that values diversity of thought and recognizes everyone for their personal strengths and desire to learn and grow Qualifications Required Minimum QualificationsBachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including but not limited to C C C Java JavaScript or Python OR equivalent experience Other requirementsMicrosoft Cloud Background Check This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire transfer and every two years thereafter Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including but not limited to C C C Java JavaScript or Python OR Master s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2 years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including but not limited to C C C Java JavaScript or Python OR equivalent experience Experience designing implementing and shipping high scale distributed web services using C or Java Expertise in one or more web application dev frameworks like Angular React Redux etc Experience with distributed systems and a cloud technology stack such as Azure or AWS Reliable communication and collaboration skills A good working knowledge of agile software development methodologies and tools that enable these such
