Position Details: Job Title: AGM – Investment Back Office Location: Mumbai – Lower Panel (WFO all 5 days) Reporting to: Director - Finance Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 8 to 10 years (strictly within this range) Context & Role: The jobholder will have the responsibility of Derivative accounting, accurate and timely calculation of NAV, settlement of Investment deals, MIS reporting, Reconciliations, Investment accounting, IRDAI reporting, US GAAP reporting, IFRS reporting. He will be managing a team of 2-3 people. Key Responsibilities: Ø Responsible for day to day back office settlement of deals, liaison with custodian, perform various reconciliations. Ø Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of in-house NAV calculation Ø Knowledge of Investment Accounting and interaction with the Finance team Ø Investment Reporting as required by IRDAI, US team and Management Ø Interaction with the US IT Team for the Investment Management Functions for GAAP accounting. Ø IFRS Reporting Ø Verification of Income & accruals Ø Investment accounting Ø Derivative accounting and Hedge effectiveness testing (HET) Ø Managing Stat audit, Concurrent audit, internal / IRMS audit Measures of Performance: · Preparation of US GAAP financials & IFRS reporting · Accuracy in Derivative accounting & HET · Timely completion of all audits · Accuracy and timeliness of NAV reporting · Strict adherence to valuation policy for MTM · Correctness of Income accrual & investment accounting entries. · Accuracy in the settlement of deals · Broker Empanelment & Review · Accuracy & Timeliness in management reporting Desired qualifications and experience: · CA/ / CFA and/ or an MBA with a specialization in Finance from a premier institute. · About 8-10 years' experience Kindly apply only if you: - Are comfortable with a Work-from-Office (WFO) model — 5 days a week - Are not expecting more than INR 30 LPA (fixed) - Are experienced between 8–10 years (strictly within this range) - Are from the Insurance sector (Life or General) or Mutual Funds / Asset Management industry - Are based in or around Mumbai – Lower Parel, and comfortable travelling to the office daily Interested candidates please share your CV at uma.nandan@arcentglobal.com OR send it on whatsapp at 922 029 5087.
