Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer at Blackcurrant Labs Pvt. Ltd. The Junior QA Engineer will be responsible for test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, creating test cases, and software testing on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver high high-quality digital experience to our customers through web automation projects
- Develop and implement automated test scripts by enhancing the existing/new framework and architecture.
- Ensure all aspects of the system have adequate testing coverage and manage the overall system reliability, performance, and quality of the product
- Write functional & end-to-end tests using JavaScript technologies.
- Strong grasp and experience in backend automation (using REST, HTTP client, etc).
- Experience /Knowledge in Postman
- Develop reusable utilities and test scripts, which can be shared across the platform.
- Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors, or bugs, and usability.
- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
- Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
- Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
- Test Execution and Quality Assurance skills
- Manual Testing proficiency
- Creating Test Cases and Software Testing Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a team
- Experience with test automation tools is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's in IT Engineering (Preferred)
- Master's in Computer Applications.
