providing technology services to our financial payroll and human resource functions We partner with our business partners to provide an outstanding experience within Workday s application In addition to these services we re fortunate to have a positive relationship with our Workday product development team around improvements and future design considerations for our own product Our partnership allows us to align and influence the core value proposition for Workday while directly supporting our workmates About the RoleWe are looking for a Business Systems Analyst BSA to join our WOW Finance team In this role you will be working closely with our Finance teams to drive process and system improvements that will help enable the finance organization and drive scale This role will provide technical mentorship be hands on respond to reporting analytics requests provide project management build and manage various integrations and work independently but closely with the functional financial business partners The Business Systems Analyst BSA will participate in analyzing business problems and recommending solutions that improve automation and efficiency This will involve evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet the strategic needs of the business The BSA will be responsible for ensuring successful maintenance and configuration of new Workday solutions including redesigning existing features while also understanding and recommending the optimized approach for implementing new features Responsibilities This hands-on technical role demands excellent knowledge of business processes and methodologies along with the skills for reporting and analytics The candidate will have direct hands on experience in Financial Applications design configuration and implementation Work closely with business partners to understand business processes goals and gaps Drive the planning prioritization design development and deployment of new projects system improvements Responsible for understanding business requirements configuring the Workday Financials product and documenting as needed Leverage business knowledge and expertise to find opportunities for process improvements Participate in the change management and launch support processes of any new and modification of existing configuration Facilitate review sessions with functional owners domain experts and end-user representatives Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met Assist project team during user acceptance testing UAT including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance signoff About YouBasic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field or equivalent experience required 2 years of directly related experience working with financial operation in IT financials operations or implementing administering the Workday Financial or similar application Understanding of the Accounting Treasury Tax ATT and Business Finance BF process flows and their inter-dependencies with focus on sourcing processes Other Qualifications Self-motivated flexible teammate with validated multi-tasking time management organization Interpersonal teamwork analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Customer service oriented with a proven desire to go above and beyond and the ability to serve multiple customers while delivering a solid experience You love to have fun while delivering innovative solutions Our Approach to Flexible WorkWith Flex Work were combining the best of both worlds in-person time and remote Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections maintain a strong community and do their best work We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways so rather than a number of required days in-office each week we simply spend at least half 50 of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers prospects and partners depending on role This means you ll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business team and personal needs while being intentional to make the most of time spent together Those in our remote home office roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter Are you being referred to one of our roles If so ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process Workday
