You will design, develop and deploy reliable distributed solutions that operate at Amazon scale. You will work with a variety of core languages and technologies including Java, React js and AWS services. You will tackle problems, novel situations every day, and will have the opportunity to work alongside talented Amazon engineers to redefine an industry. Deliver working features spanning the full software lifecycle including working backwards from customers, software design, implementation, testing and deployment, operations, and documentation 2. Mentor engineers on your team to help grow their potential 3. Make priority tradeoffs between new feature development and operational work 4. Engage with stakeholders, and peers to understand the business and customer value of your team's software in order to ensure you deliver the right solutions. WWCP is responsible for: 1) Planning customer support staffing. 2) Preserving customer experience when they contact customer service. 3) Ensuring best costs for providing customer support. WWCP crafts a comprehensive workforce management plan by strategically analyzing historical data and anticipating potential business events to accurately predict the number of required associates for the next 12 months. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
