Your Role

As an Optical Network Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable solutions for managing optical network elements and integrating with SDN controllers and multi-vendor devices. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver robust, standards-compliant network management systems.

In this role, you will:

- Develop solutions forDWDMandOTNbased optical networks
- Build and maintain systems to manageOptical NEs and entities(e.g., ports, optical pluggables, trails, APS)
- Work withSDN controllerssuch asOpenDaylight (ODL)
- Implement protocols likeNetconf,YANG, andSNMP
- Design and developNMS solutionsfor optical networks
- Integrate withmulti-vendor devicesusingSNMP,Netconf, andYANG
- Enablenorthbound integrationwith OSS and applications usingNetconf,Restconf, andREST APIs
- Build scalable microservices-based solutions usingKubernetesandKafka

Your Profile

- 6-12 years of experience in network software development
- Strong expertise inDWDM,OTN, and optical network management
- Hands-on experience withSDN controllers(ODL preferred)
- Proficiency inNetconf,YANG,SNMP, andRESTful APIs
- Experience in buildingNMS solutionsand integrating with OSS systems
- Familiarity withmicroservices architecture,Kubernetes, andKafka
- Working experience withpublic cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Exposure toCisco NSOandHCOis desirable
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
