Accountant

BE World is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles excellent analytical skills and a proven track record of financial management and reporting in a media or professional services firm Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Analysis Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Conduct variance analysis and financial forecasting to identify trends risks and opportunities for optimization and improvement Budgeting and Forecasting Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets working closely with department heads and senior management to develop accurate forecasts and financial plans Monitor budget performance track expenses and provide regular updates and recommendations to ensure budgetary compliance and alignment with strategic objectives Accounts Payable and Receivable Manage accounts payable processes including invoice processing vendor payments and expense reimbursements ensuring timely and accurate payments Oversee accounts receivable activities including client invoicing collections and credit control to optimize cash flow and minimize overdue balances Financial Compliance and Audit Support Ensure compliance with accounting principles regulations and internal policies and procedures maintaining accurate records and documentation for audits and financial reviews Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation for external audits providing support and information as needed to auditors and regulatory authorities Taxation and Compliance Prepare and file tax returns including income tax sales tax and payroll tax filings ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and regulations providing guidance and recommendations to senior management on tax planning and optimization strategies Financial Systems and Processes Implement and maintain efficient financial systems processes and controls to streamline operations improve accuracy and mitigate financial risks Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial management Requirements Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field Certified Public Accountant CPA designation preferred Proven experience 2 years in accounting or finance roles with a track record of financial management and reporting in a media professional services or related industry Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices with proficiency in financial analysis budgeting and forecasting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data identify trends and provide insights and recommendations to senior management Proficiency in accounting software e g QuickBooks SAP Oracle and Microsoft Excel Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance in financial reporting and documentation Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in accounting and finance Join BE World and be part of a dynamic finance team dedicated to driving financial performance and success for our clients and projects If you are a skilled and experienced Accountant with a passion for accuracy compliance and financial management we want to hear from you Apply now to join BE World and contribute your expertise to our continued growth and success Job Type Full-time Pay 12 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Work Location In person
