Job Description

This role is for an Investment Counselor (Wealth) responsible for enabling sales by leveraging deep product knowledge and supporting the sales team. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert, primarily focused on conducting training and knowledge sessions to ensure a consistent and effective sales pitch across the team.

Key Accountabilities

- Drive sales across the region through concept selling and leveraging customer relationships.
- Achieve product-level targets for specific Equity and Debt products within the assigned zone.
- Conduct regular training and knowledge sessions for internal employees and distributors to ensure continuous learning and a consistent message.
- Organize and lead regular huddles and meetings to articulate products and market outlook effectively.
- Simplify all aspects of the capital market and position products in the best interest of all stakeholders.
- Work with the sales team to increase product mix and market spread.
- Provide critical ground feedback to the business, including insights on branch, distribution, team, and customer service.
- Support the creation of simplified communication on focused products.
- Give market feedback to the Investments team on competitor products and market positioning.
- Accompany Sales RMs in key customer meetings and closely manage relationships with Key Family Offices/UHNIs.

Skills & Qualifications

- Expertise in product knowledge across Equity and Debt.
- Strong ability to conduct training and knowledge sessions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients, distributors, and internal teams.
- Strong understanding of capital markets and investment products.
