Buyer Logitics

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Logistics Buyer to manage the procurement of logistics services for domestic power projects in India.

• Supplier Coordination: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and engaging logistics suppliers to support the transportation and delivery of project materials.
• Procurement Support: Collaborate with senior buyers to prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs), quotations, and tenders related to logistics services.
• Cost Analysis: Support cost analysis efforts by comparing quotations from various suppliers and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
• Order Management: Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely processing and accuracy of documentation related to logistics services.
• Logistics Coordination: Work closely with internal teams and logistics providers to coordinate shipping schedules, routes, and delivery timelines.
• Documentation Compliance: Ensure all shipping and logistics documentation meets regulatory requirements and company policies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams. Familiarity with ERP - SAP, logistics management tools, and MS Office Suite is also required.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in logistics or procurement.
• Familiarity with logistics software and systems.
