ELV Draughtsman

Job Description

-:- Skilled and detail-oriented ELV Draftsman to join our team. The ideal

candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in drafting and designing low-voltage systems.

This role involves creating detailed and accurate layouts for various electrical and

communication systems using AutoCAD.

-:-Key Responsibilities :

Lighting Layouts & Power Layouts: Design and prepare detailed lighting and

power layouts, including loop diagrams, conduit layouts, and distribution board (DB)

details.

Cable Tray Layouts:Develop comprehensive layouts for cable trays, ensuring

proper routing and support for cabling systems.

Fire Alarm System Layout: Create detailed layouts for fire alarm systems, ensuring

compliance with safety regulations and standards.

CCTV & PASystem Layouts: Design layouts for CCTV and public address (PA)

systems, considering optimal placement and integration with existing infrastructure.

Data & Telephone System Layouts: Prepare layouts for data and telephone

systems, ensuring efficient and reliable communication networks.

Calculations: Perform calculations for lighting requirements based on given area

specifications, ensuring adequate and efficient lighting solutions.

-:-Qualifications :

Education:Relevant diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a

related field.

Experience:3-6 years of experience in drafting and designing electrical and

low-voltage systems.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software. Strong

understanding of electrical systems and low-voltage system design.

Detail-Oriented:Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and

high-quality drafts.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve design

issues effectively.

Communication:Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with

engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
