Who are we At Finastra we are a dynamic global provider of open finance software solutions dedicated to expanding access to financial services Our innovative applications span Lending Payments Treasury and Capital Markets and Universal Banking Proudly serving over 8 000 customers including 45 of the world s top 50 banks we aim to boost financial inclusion for all Join us and be part of a vibrant company that embraces diverse perspectives and is committed to doing well by doing good The Accounts Payable Manager will lead the AP Payments team ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining optimal liquidity This role requires close collaboration with the Treasury team to manage funding and cash flow The manager will oversee a team of professional and support staff ensuring operational excellence compliance and continuous improvement in AP processes Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Manage the end-to-end vendor payment process ensuring timely disbursements and compliance with internal controls Supervise daily operations of the AP Payments team resolving issues and ensuring adherence to professional standards Collaborate with Treasury to forecast funding needs and manage liquidity effectively Monitor payment cycles and optimize working capital Team Management Lead coach and develop a team of individual contributors and support staff Drive performance management recruitment and talent development activities Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement Strategic Execution Execute operational plans and adapt priorities to address resource or technical challenges Make decisions related to ongoing delivery of work projects and services Ensure integration of AP processes with related functions to deliver seamless financial operations Compliance Controls Ensure adherence to company policies accounting standards and regulatory requirements Identify and mitigate risks in the AP process Support internal and external audits related to AP activities Knowledge Business Expertise Deep understanding of AP processes vendor management and liquidity planning Strong grasp of business practices and financial operations Ability to integrate AP activities with broader finance and business strategies Problem Solving Impact Use sound judgment to resolve operational and vendor-related issues Anticipate resource needs and proactively address challenges Decisions directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the AP function and related teams Interpersonal Skills Handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism Communicate clearly and simplify complex information for diverse audiences Leadership Competencies Customer Focus Prioritize internal and external stakeholder needs Action Oriented Drive results with urgency and efficiency Decision Quality Make informed decisions using data and experience Plans Aligns Strategically align team goals with business objectives Ensures Accountability Set clear expectations and monitor performance Instils Trust Build credibility through integrity and transparency Situational Adaptability Adjust approach based on context and challenges Strategic Mindset Think ahead and anticipate future needs Collaborates Work cross-functionally to achieve shared goals Builds Effective Teams Create a high-performing engaged team Attracts Develops Talent Identify and nurture potential within the team Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field Master s preferred 8 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar function Experience working with ERP systems e g NetSuite Coupa etc Strong analytical leadership and communication skills This person would report to Accounts Payable -
