About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with a focus on WordPress, and the ability to create visually appealing, functional, and high-performing websites. You will collaborate closely with our design and marketing teams to implement, maintain, and enhance WordPress-based websites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet project requirements.
- Ensure website responsiveness, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate, configure, and optimize WordPress plugins as needed.
- Develop custom WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
- Ensure content is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard websites from vulnerabilities.
- Optimize website performance, including speed, load times, and server efficiency.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors promptly.
- Perform regular website backups, updates, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and team members to ensure seamless website development.
- Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Knowledge of web development best practices, including SEO and web accessibility.
- Familiarity with responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and developments in WordPress and web development.
