Job Title: Chapter Lead Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore Business & Team: PSU IT Impact & contribution: Utilise advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and practices in programming technologies and platforms to achieve business outcomes, draw on core technology and domain knowledge to lead the design, enhancement and maintenance of a technology solution. Roles & Responsibilities: - Responsible for the development of strategic programs of work - Utilizes strong understanding of core business and technical strategies to deliver best business outcomes - Provide advanced technical knowledge and experience to assist in resolving technology issues - Provide consultancy across projects and delivery teams - Advocate for best practices and industry standards - Team performance management, engagement and skill development - Participates in design and code reviews - Active contribution to internal online discussion around software engineering, delivery and technology e.g. blog posts, knowledge base articles etc. - Analyse systems and applications and provide recommendations for enhancement and development - Software development and quality control of software developed by geographically disperse team - Work within a team environment and provide leadership of your team and complete associated tasks - Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments, as well as system updates into production - Assist with preparation and documentation of deployment and configuration scripts for development, test and production environments - Troubleshoot complex deployment, environment and production issues. Essential Skills - 12+ years of overall IT experience with 2+ years of experience in team management - In-depth knowledge and experience in - .Net core, React JS, HTML, CSS. Javascript, AWS cloud. - A willingness to adapt to our development practices (Agile, TDD) and work across all SDLC phases including analysis, design, development, testing and support of technology assets. - Proficient oral and written communications skills to help both the business and your team make the right technical decision - Self-managing and able to work collaboratively in a team environment - Cares about coding practices, likes to improve coding practices - Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly-structured, deadline-driven environment - Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment - High attention to detail and ability to be confident in decision-making - Team leadership and line management performance, engagement, development - Willingness to continuously learn new tools and technologies Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
