We are hiring for a Big four company in Ahmedabad Gujarat for the role of Manager Financial Services to deal with direct taxes of clients of the company Key Responsibilities Analyze and discuss complex technical tax issues gather relevant client information and offer effective solutions Independently finalize withholding tax computations file individual tax returns draft advisory memos provide on-call advice and address technical queries Handle tax assessments and represent clients before tax authorities Prepare and review reports memos and presentations Keep clients updated on recent amendments and regulatory changes Deliver client assignments end-to-end with a focus on quality and timeliness Build and maintain strong relationships with client management teams Identify and expand opportunities within existing client accounts and act on referrals Assist in business development initiatives including research presentations and promotional activities Lead interactions with revenue and regulatory authorities Manage multiple client engagements efficiently including planning execution and review of work programs Coordinate with senior leadership Associate Director Director on assignment management Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their skills and performance RequirementsMandatory Skills Qualifications Educational Qualification Chartered Accountant CA with 46 years of relevant experience or a Law degree from a recognized university with similar experience Additional qualifications like Company Secretary CS or CFA are a plus Technical Expertise Solid understanding of direct tax regulations income tax laws and related compliance Knowledge of Transfer Pricing and its application in business Familiarity with regulatory laws including Companies Act SEBI rules FEMA and GST developments Key Competencies Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication Proficiency in MS Office and report writing Well-rounded commercial and financial market awareness Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for client service Leadership Management Ability to manage projects and multiple client engagements Experience in coaching and developing junior staff Preferred Skills Expertise in Direct Taxes and related compliance Experience with tax-related advisory and regulatory matters Knowledge of GST and its industry impact BenefitsWe offer a dynamic environment where you can enhance your professional skills expand your network and contribute to meaningful projects with high-impact clients
