Job Description Job Title : Software Developer Desktop Applications Required : 5 to 9 : Period : 0-30 Days Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Developer with a strong background in desktop-based application development using C++/VC++ on the Windows platform. The ideal candidate will also possess secondary skills in JavaScript or C# .Net and have relevant domain experience in SCADA/HMI systems or industrial Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain desktop-based applications using C++/VC++ on Windows OS. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship high-quality software solutions. - Participate in the complete software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Work on implementing and integrating industrial communication protocols such as Modbus. - Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. - Use WireShark and other debugging tools for communication analysis and troubleshooting. - Contribute to Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) of applications and modules. - Maintain source code and manage version control using Azure Skills & Qualifications Skills : - Proficient in C++/VC++ on Windows OS - Strong experience in developing desktop-based Skills : - Hands-on with JavaScript or C# Expertise : - Experience with SCADA/HMI software - Exposure to industrial automation Proficiency : - Good understanding of protocols implementation (e.g., Modbus) - Strong skills in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) - Familiarity with tools like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps/TFS, and Qualities : - Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Effective communication and interpersonal to Have : - Experience with additional industrial protocols - Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control best practices (ref:hirist.tech)
