Job Requirements At Quest Global it s not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different With over 25 years as an engineering services provider we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future We bring together technologies and industries alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture to solve problems better and faster Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior 3D Artist to join our team specializing in the creation of photorealistic digital humans and their integration into the NVIDIA Omniverse platform The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional 3D art pipelines a deep understanding of photogrammetry and proven expertise in using Omniverse for simulation and asset manipulation This role is pivotal for generating and refining lifelike avatars and digital twins for use in virtual worlds simulations and interactive experiences Requirements Bachelor s degree in Fine Arts Computer Graphics or a related field or equivalent professional experience 5 years of experience as a 3D artist with a strong portfolio showcasing realistic character models and digital humans Proven proficiency with 3D software such as ZBrush Autodesk Maya Blender and Substance Painter Demonstrable expertise in using NVIDIA Omniverse including knowledge of OpenUSD and its simulation capabilities Key Responsibilities Capture real-world human subjects using advanced photogrammetry techniques to generate high-quality 3D scan data Process raw scan data to create clean optimized and animation-ready 3D models of digital humans Masterfully sculpt fine details apply realistic textures using PBR workflows and create shaders for skin hair and clothing Develop and implement character rigging solutions for digital humans to facilitate animation and dynamic posing within Omniverse Utilize Omniverse Connectors to seamlessly import and export digital human assets from DCC applications We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day Questians are driven by hunger humility and aspiration We believe that our company culture is the key to our ability to make a true difference in every industry we reach Our teams regularly invest time and dedicated effort into internal culture work ensuring that all voices are heard We wholeheartedly believe in the diversity of thought that comes with fostering a culture rooted in respect where everyone belongs is valued and feels inspired to share their ideas We know embracing our unique differences makes us better and that solving the worlds hardest engineering problems requires diverse ideas perspectives and backgrounds We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21 000 difference-makers in our workplace Work Experience Technical and software skills 3D modeling software Autodesk Maya Blender or blender Photogrammetry NVIDIA Omniverse proficiency Omniverse Connectors Experience in using connectors to import and export data from DCC Digital Content Creation tools like Maya or Blender into Omniverse OpenUSD Universal Scene Description In-depth knowledge of the OpenUSD format which is the foundation of Omniverse to manage complex scene graphs and data layering
