Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Sourcing & Procurement As a sourcing buyer you will independently manage the end-to-end sourcing projects. In addition, you also need to support sourcing projects of junior buyers. Your focus should be on creating opportunities for negotiations and driving savings for our client. Responsibilities .Procure goods and services, obtain quotation, develop proposals and/or negotiate contracts of low to moderate value/risk consistent with client requirements. .Good understanding and experience of RFP / RFX / RFQ is required to be managed via formal ERP / procurement tool-based sourcing. Understanding of eAuction is mandatory. .Understanding on upstream and downstream sourcing process, namely S2P and P2P process. .Manage Proactive engagements activity for operational planned spend opportunities within defined operational spend levels .Manage transactional buying desk activities and support wider category management including raising purchase orders .Quotation analysis and recommendations, consideration suitability/reliability of suppliers to meet operational requirements and as per Client Procurement Policy/Sourcing guidelines .Negotiate with Suppliers on both Commercial and Non-Commercial Clauses as per guidance .Obtain approval from Client Category Manager on finalized projects .Support Drafting of Contract as Client and Senior Buyer instructions .Record Savings in the Client Savings Data Base .Engagement with operational teams to review pipeline and track savings opportunities .Work closely with category managers and business units to establish and deliver procurement requirements, strategic benefits and compliance to existing procurement contracts .Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers & stake holders .Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned .Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement. .Act as a single point of contact to the client and maintain good relations. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications .Relevant experience of operational sourcing (indirect) and tactical buying. .Hands on experience on Zycus (preference) / Coupa, Ariba or similar systems for procurement / CRM tools .Experience on any AI based in take / orchestration tool (e.g. ORO, Avammo, etc.) will be beneficial. .Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. .Green belt / Black belt / certified lean professional will be preferred. .Any sourcing / project management certification / course will be a preference. .US / UK sourcing experience will be preferred. .Education - Min graduate in any stream. Any Master degree would be preferred. Any tech qualification would be preferred. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills .Excellent communication is key to this role - Both written and verbal. .Mentoring young sourcing professionals within the team. .Should reflect great enthusiasm and a positive attitude. .Adopt to Globalized work culture and environment. .Strong negotiation skills. .Good problem-solving ability using rationale and wisdom. .Should be a great team player with a high engagement level. .Protects organization%27s value by keeping information confidential. .Digital mindset - Having good exposure to ERPs / other tools would be excellent .Lean philosophy / Project management skills would be an added advantage.
