Job Description RB - Branch Control Unit: Regional Team INTERNAL USAGE: No. of Vacancies: Reports to: RB - Branch Control Unit: Regional Head Is a Team leader No Team Size: NA Grade: M/SM Business: Department: Branch Banking Sub-Department: BCU Location: About BCU To strengthen the controls in the front line, bank has established the Branch Control Unit which will drive unified charter of Controls, Risks and Compliance in the branch network. The new structure will strengthen first line accountability for control failures, drive the control agenda across an integrated framework of erstwhile BBOG, SQ & ROM units. The role would drive significant impact in improving in BOHI scores, Branch Audits, Fraud Outcomes and ensure integration of learning across the Bank, with empowerment to ensure proactive steps are taken towards remediation. About theRole The Regional Team reports to Regional BCU Head, helps driving & strengthening the Operational matrix / performance of the branches, support with various MIS and reports, analyze and engage with identified set of branches for driving performance improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Work closely with RBCU Head and assist driving the functional objectives. - Read/interpret and prepare regional/circle/cluster level MIS. - Disseminate performance MIS of various nature - operational, risk, compliance & audit. - Track branches achieving BOHI Target, identify bottom performing clusters/circles and provide inputs. - Track pending audit observations, observe branches breaching TAT, and advise/escalate to the branch leadership team. - Facilitate & actively engage with branch/cluster leadership to discuss key operational matrix. - Track Systems and Process (S&P) reviews covering all branches, submission of report and ensuring closure. - Monitoring of timely completion of LOC visits by cluster heads, prepare MIS and share periodic updates. - Following up and helping branches for audit closure in time. Share best practices and responses. - Assist in training & implementation of new products & process to branches. - Assist/respond to queries and requirements from RBBH, Circle Heads & Cluster Heads & day to day operations. Qualifications - Graduate / Post Graduation from a recognized institute. - He or She should have a core banking experience of 5-8 Years. Role Proficiencies: - Ability to collaborate with stake holders and drive functional objectives independently. - Deep understanding of Systems and Processes & Operations.
