Company Active Construction Company Location Jamshedpur Jharkhand Active Construction Company a leading construction company based in Jamshedpur seeks a highly skilled and experienced Billing Engineer Civil to join our team We specialize in industrial construction projects and are known for delivering high-quality projects on time The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in billing and a strong background in civil engineering particularly within the industrial construction sector Responsibilities 1 Billing and Estimation Prepare accurate and detailed bills of quantities BOQ based on project specifications drawings and contract documents Develop cost estimates for materials labor and equipment required for construction projects 2 Quantity Surveying Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare material quantity requisitions Verify and review measurements and quantities to ensure accurate billing and costing 3 Project Cost Control Monitor project costs and expenditures ensuring adherence to the budget Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to analyze and control project costs effectively 4 Invoicing and Documentation Generate and process timely and accurate invoices for clients based on work completed Maintain proper documentation related to billing including variations claims and change orders 5 Contract Management Review and analyze contractual agreements to ensure compliance with billing and payment terms Collaborate with the legal team to resolve any billing or contractual disputes 6 Coordination Liaise with project managers site engineers procurement teams and vendors to gather necessary data for accurate billing Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile project accounts 7 Cost Analysis and Reporting Prepare cost analysis reports and provide regular updates to management regarding project costs budget variances and financial projections Requirements 1 Education Bachelor s Diploma degree in Civil Engineeringor a related field Additional certification in Quantity Surveying or Billing is preferred 2 Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Billing Engineer preferably in industrial construction projects Experience in a leading construction company is highly desirable 3 Technical Skills Proficient in quantity surveying billing software and MS Office applications Knowledge of ERP systems for construction projects is a plus 4 Strong Analytical Skills Ability to analyze project costs identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions Attention to detail and a systematic approach to work are essential 5 Communication and Interpersonal Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including project managers site engineers and finance personnel 6 Time Management Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively 7 Problem Solving Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve billing and contractual issues promptly Proactive in suggesting process improvements and implementing best practices If you are a dynamic individual with a strong background in billing and civil engineering and you thrive in a fast-paced construction environment we encourage you to apply Join our team at Active Construction Company and contribute to our continued success in delivering exceptional industrial construction projects in Jamshedpur and beyond Job Type Full-time Pay 40 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Jamshedpur Jharkhand Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Education Bachelor s Required Experience Planning and Billing 5 years Required Industrial Construction 5 years Required Work Location In person
