Ensure utensils and cooking tools are clean and stored properly. 4. Cleaning and Hygiene Maintenance Wash kitchen tools, cutting boards, pots, pans, and dishes regularly. Clean workstations, kitchen surfaces, and food preparation areas to maintain hygiene standards. Keep floors dry and free from spills to avoid accidents. Take out the garbage and dispose of waste as per kitchen procedures. Ensure cleanliness of the dining or staff meal areas after food service. 5. Inventory and Supplies Handling Help in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies like vegetables, grains, spices, and packaged goods. Inform the supervisor or cook when kitchen items are running low.
